It's been said that the opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.

Get ready to care in one extreme or another at Love/Hate, the new bar designed by Miami Ink's Chris Nunez and Ami James. A space inspired by classic American tattoo parlors, with elements of car and motorcycle culture, it has a relaxed, laidback feel and no attitude or cover at the door. Like a tattoo, it puts forward its own this-is-who-I am-and-you-be-who-you are personality. The music is all about mood, fun and groove, offering up a mix of old-school hip-hop, rock 'n' roll and ska. Drinks, meanwhile, play on the edge of danger with names like Sergeant Slaughter, Panty Dropper Potion and the Nunez (a chocolate concoction) (all $12).
